Spring proposals due March 24, 2008
Thanks to the support of the University of Utah's Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs (David Pershing) and the Academic Coordinator for Web-Based Instruction (Chuck Wight), the TAC Center is in a position to fund faculty development awards. When available, all colleges, departments, and faculty at the University of Utah are eligible to apply for these fellowships.
The funds are intended primarily to provide teaching release time for faculty members to develop fully online courses or to support teaching assistants for a semester to prepare an online course under the direction of a faculty member. Funding priorities are given to proposals that make use of the TAC Center. Funding decisions are made by the Committee for a Technologically Enhanced Curriculum (CTEC).
