The Technology Assisted Curriculum Center (TACC) supports faculty, instructors and students with technology-enabled course design, development and delivery services. We collaboratively connect people and instructional technologies for effective, efficient education.
Strategic Focus
TACC actively pursues excellence in the following areas:
Technology Integration
Access to technology-assisted courses, instructional materials and learning tools should be easy for students and instructors with system seamlessly working together to offer a cohesive learning experience. TACC will facilitate building and improving integrated internet learning environments.
Assisted Competency
Through training events and individual consultation, we assist faculty, instructors, teaching assistants and students in acquiring and applying the skills needed to effectively and efficiently use the learning technologies offered through TACC.
Curriculum Collaboration
We match learning tools to tasks. Using practical instructional design methods, we work with faculty and content experts to match their learning objectives to the best technology facilitated teaching and learning activities.
Center for Service
We gladly support the courses delivered through TACC services and cultivate positive relationships with the faculty, instructors and students who contact us for assistance. If we cannot address an issue, we will help who can, facilitate contact and stay engaged throughout the resolution process.
About TACC Services
TACC primarily helps instructors and students using web technologies in for-credit university courses. When time and resources allow, our consultants may provide faculty members and/or academic departments additional academic technology consulting services.
TACC provides digital media consultation services and may assist with small media production and conversion projects. For larger media projects involving high-volumes, complex production or extensive format changes, TACC may facilitate opening a project with our campus partners more suited to the type of work needed.
